Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent variation in correlation between output of a light source and monitor light from occurring when the output of the light source is changed. [Solution] This medical system is provided with: an imaging device for capturing an image of an observation object; and a light source device for generating light to be applied to the observation object, wherein the light source device comprises a multiplexing unit that multiplexes different colors of light, a scattering unit that scatters light multiplexed by the multiplexing unit, and a light receiving element that detects light scattered by the scattering unit. By detecting the light scattered by the scattering unit, variation in correlation between output of a light source and monitor light can be prevented from occurring when the output of the light source is changed.
