Abstract:
This medical treatment assisting apparatus is provided with: a multi-joint robot; a location specification unit (S180); an abnormality determination unit (S200-S220); and a control unit (S260). The multi-joint robot comprises a multi-joint arm with a plurality of arms connected via joints. The location specification unit (S180) specifies a treatment location which represents the location of a site of a patient to receive a medical treatment in real space. The abnormality determination unit (S200-S220) determines whether or not a state of the site to be treated based on displacement of the treatment location specified by the location specification unit is an abnormal state predefined as a state representing an abnormality. When the state of the site to be treated is determined as the abnormal state by the abnormality determination unit, the control unit (S260) executes safety control for improving the safety of the medical treatment.
