Title:
MEDICAL TREATMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/018264
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Grasping forceps (1) has a pair of guide sections (7A, 7B) for guiding operation
wires (6A, 6B) in the direction of an axis (C) of a sheath, an advance/retreat member
(transmission section)(8) for transmitting information on displacement of
an operation section to the operation wires (6A, 6B) and outputting it to a treatment
section, a movement-in-the-distal-direction preventing section (section
for preventing movement in a specific direction)(10) for allowing the operation
wires (6A, 6B) to move only in the direction to the proximal end of the sheath, a
movement-in-the-proximal-direction preventing section (section for preventing
movement in a specific direction)(11) for allowing the operation wires (6A,
6B) to move only in the direction to the distal end of the sheath, and an engaged
state releasing section (12) for releasing engagement between the guide sections
(7A, 7B) and the movement-in-the-distal-direction preventing section (10)
or the movement-in-the-proximal-direction preventing section (11). When
the treatment section is held in a certain state in the middle of treatment, the
state of the treatment section can be maintained even if external force is applied
to the treatment section, so that operation for reactivating the treatment section
and operation for releasing the treatment section from a state in which it is held
can be performed at the same time.
