Abstract:
It is difficult for microwaves radiating from two electrodes to be efficiently radiated into tissue, and practical application thereof has thus been difficult. In addition, it has been difficult to cause microwaves to radiate uniformly from the surface of a microwave application antenna.
As a result of extensive research carried out to resolve these problems, the inventors of the present invention found that by optimizing the construction and arrangement of the microwave application antenna and a microwave receiver antenna, and by installing a microwave demultiplexer, it is possible for microwaves radiated from two electrodes to be efficiently radiated into tissue.
