Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a medical-use tube that can be used in a medical apparatus including a guide wire and is capable of ensuring torquability, improving flexibility, and, even when bent, distributing stress to prevent breaking and not becoming inoperable. [Solution] This medical-use tube 3 comprises: an inner tube shaft 2 provided with a proximal end section 8 and a distal end section 4 that is formed on the distal side of the proximal end section 8, has a smaller external diameter than the external diameter of the proximal end section 8, and has, formed on the surface thereof, a slit 6 extending in a θ2 direction relative to the major axis direction of the medical-use tube 3; and an outer tube shaft 5 covering the outer periphery of the distal end section 4 of the inner tube shaft 2 and having, formed on the surface thereof, a slit 7 extending in a θ1 direction which intersects with the θ2 direction.
