Abstract:

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medicine checking device capable of properly checking the quantity of solid medicines without causing checking trouble due to overlap or contact between the solid medicines and the presence of a packaging paper, and a medicine dispenser provided with the medicine checking device. [solution] A medicine checking device (10) is provided with: a checking unit (14) provided with a plurality of checking regions (26a-26c) in which medicines to be checked are disposed; a vibration means (16) capable of generating vibration independently in each of the checking regions; an image capturing means (18) capable of capturing an image of the medicines disposed in the checking unit (14); a medicine information detection means (66) capable of detecting either or both of the quantity and the type of the medicines on the basis of the image obtained by the image capturing means (18); and a distribution sensing means (62) for sensing the distribution of the medicines in the checking unit (14) on the basis of the image obtained by being captured by the image capturing means (18). In the medicine checking device (10), the vibration means (16) generates vibration in a region selected on the basis of the result of the sensing by the distribution sensing means (62) among the checking regions (26a-26c).
