Abstract:
The present invention improves a medicine packaging machine so that it is possible to confer a sufficient sense of safety in regard to excessive discharge of medicine, even if a subsequent general-purpose medicine feeder is installed. A temporary storage structure 97 that temporarily stores, collects, and drops medicine is provided to a lower end of a medicine guiding structure 90 that performs drop guidance of discharged medicine from a general-purpose medicine feeder 86, which is a non-cassette-type/container fixed-type feeder. Furthermore, when excessive discharge of medicine from the medicine feeder 86 is detected, a packaging operation is temporarily stopped and the temporary storage structure 97 is caused to maintain a storage state, while an extraction operation of medicine feeder installation parts 80, 80 is allowed, after which the packaging operation is allowed to resume when extraction and pushing-back of the medicine feeder installation parts 80, 80 are detected.
