Abstract:
The present medium conveyance mechanism for conveying a medium by a pair of conveyance rollers provided so as to face each other is low cost, occupies a reduced space, and can be assembled easily. The medium conveyance device comprises: a torsion spring provided with a coiled section and with arms provided at both ends of the coiled section; a first affixation wall to which one arm of the torsion spring is affixed; and two second affixation walls which are disposed on the opposite side of the first affixation wall and to which the coiled section is affixed. The other arm of the torsion spring is made to be in contact with a follower roller shaft on the first affixation wall side.
