Abstract:
Provided are a medium ejection device, a control method, and a control program with which it is possible to satisfactorily eject a medium. The medium ejection device comprises: an imaging unit; a plurality of ejection rollers disposed on the downstream side of the imaging unit in the medium ejecting direction at intervals in a direction orthogonal to the medium ejecting direction; a plurality of detection sensors disposed between the imaging unit and the plurality of ejection rollers at intervals in a direction orthogonal to the medium ejecting direction; and a control unit that conveys a medium captured by the imaging unit with the plurality of ejection rollers having peripheral velocities different from each other to execute skew correction of the medium. The control unit executes the skew correction if the elapsed time from passage of the rear end of the medium through one of the plurality of detection sensors to passage through another detection sensor is less than or equal to a first threshold, and does not execute the skew correction if the elapsed time is greater than the first threshold.
