Abstract:
In the present invention, a money receiving part of a banknote processing device is configured to interlock, as an interlocking part, an interlocking plate of an interlocking lever of a center cover and an interlocking roller of a backup arm of a backup part 29. Due to this configuration, the money receiving part can displace the backup part upward in conjunction with shifting the center cover from a closed state to an opened state, and thus new banknotes can be loaded into the stacking space. Further, the money receiving part can lower the backup part to abut the top surface of the banknotes in conjunction with shifting the center cover from the opened state to the closed state, and thus the accuracy of separation and intake of the banknotes can be increased.
