Abstract:
The present invention relates to a medium storage device for an automated teller machine. The medium storage device for an automated teller machine according to the present invention comprises a base which accommodates a paper medium, and which has a push plate fixed at a belt circulating over a belt pulley arranged in the lengthwise direction at both ends of the base to press the paper medium, a base cassette for accommodating the base, and paper medium returning means for moving the push plate backwards to a predetermined distance when the base cassette is separated from a frame of the automated teller machine. The present invention can put the foremost paper medium back into the medium storage device when the medium storage device is separated from the automated teller machine.
