Abstract:
Provided is a medium for thermal transfer printing, the medium including: a support; a release layer provided over the support; and a thermally fusible ink layer provided over the release layer, wherein the release layer contains a first styrene resin, wherein the thermally fusible ink layer contains a second styrene resin and a polyester resin, and wherein a content ratio of the second styrene resin in the thermally fusible ink layer is higher than a content ratio of the first styrene resin in the release layer.
