Abstract:
Provided are: a melt blown (MB) nonwoven fabric; a laminate using the same; a melt blow nonwoven fabric production method; and a melt blowing apparatus. A melt blowing apparatus 100 is provided with a die 10 for discharging a resin melt 42 together with an associated flow, a hollow cover 20, and a collection member 60. A discharged thread-like substance 50 from the die 10 is heated to at least the crystallization temperature of the thermoplastic resin inside the hollow cover 20 and is collected by a collecting surface 62 of the collection member 60. The hollow cover 20 and the collection member 60 are separated such that the distance from a lower edge 28 of the hollow cover 20 to the collecting surface 62 in a straight line in the vertically downward direction from a nozzle hole 12 is at least 5 cm.
