Abstract:
A member for electric equipment, in particular an electroacoustic transducer, having a metal surface which has a zinc or zinc alloy layer plated thereon, a surface treating layer comprising a colloidal silica as a primary component formed on the plating layer and, formed on the surface of the treating layer, a protective layer&semi and the member for electric equipment wherein the surface treating layer further comprises at least one of aluminum, titanium and cobalt as a metal component. The member for electric equipment is excellent in heat resistance, corrosion resistance and the strength of binding the layers.
