Abstract:

Provided is a method of manufacturing a member including a first molding step and a second molding step. In the first molding step, a first tool (21, 22, 41, 42) is pressed against part of a first circumferential wall surface (110, 130, 150, 170) of a to-be-processed member (18) that is rotatably provided so as to mold a small-diameter portion (11, 13, 15, 17) having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the to-be-processed member (18). In the second molding step, a second tool (31, 32) is moved in the diameter direction relative to the to-be-processed member while being pressed against part of a second circumferential wall surface (120, 140, 160) of the to-be-processed member so as to mold a protruding portion (12, 14, 16) that protrudes in the diameter direction of the to-be-processed member.
