Abstract:
A reinforcing member is obtained by combining a pair of identically shaped cover members (1A) and (1B) made of a fluorocarbon resin. The inside diameter of a circle formed by combining the cover members (1A) and (1B) is set so as to be equal to the outside diameter of a pipe that is to be reinforced. In the widthwise centers of the cover members (1A) and (1B), grooves are formed along the inner peripheral surface. Water-draining holes (3) are formed through the thickness direction in the peaks of the arcs of the cover members (1A, 1B), and screw grooves (3A) are formed in the water-draining holes (3) from the outside inward. This reinforcing member makes it possible to reinforce, in a simple manner, a bonded section in which a fluorocarbon resin pipe for circulating fluid and another pipe-shaped member are bonded by welding.
