Abstract:
A member (1) for water-use areas comprises a member that has a groove-shaped recess (31) on the surface and is formed using material with a contact angle θ of less than 90°. Each of a first edge (34a) and a second edge (34b) of the opening of the recess (31) facing each other are smooth. In a cross section perpendicular to a first direction in which the recess (31) extends, A cos θ − B > 0 is satisfied, where A is the length along the recess (31) wall face between a first point (P1) on the first edge (34a) and a second point (P2) on the second edge (34b), and B is the linear distance between the first point (P1) and the second point (P2). The angle formed by the tangent line (L2) passing through the first point (P1) on the first edge (34a) and the horizontal plane (L1) and the angle formed by the tangent line passing through the second point (P1) on the second edge (34b) and the horizontal plane are each equivalent to the member contact angle θ.
