Abstract:
A membrane for caps characterized by comprising a synthetic resin film (2) having a thin inorganic compound film (1) on at least one side thereof and an elastic synthetic resin sheet (3), the thin film (1) being an outermost layer; and a cap characterized by having the membrane fitted therein so that the thin film (1) will face the contents of a container. The cap has no fear of causing pollution by environmental hormones, is excellent in gas-barrier properties, flavor-barrier properties, etc., and can keep the container hermetic even after the container is opened first.
