Abstract:

A membrane-coated stent (2) and a manufacturing method thereof. The membrane-coated stent (2) comprises: a first membrane (20), and a second membrane (23) located outside the first membrane (20). A fiber (21) and a stent (22) are disposed between the first membrane (20) and the second membrane (23). The fiber (21), the first membrane (20), and the second membrane (23) are fixed on the stent (22). The manufacturing method of the membrane-coated stent (2) comprises: coating the first membrane (20) onto a supporting core (S10); forming the fiber (21) and the stent (22) outside the first membrane (20) (S11); coating the second membrane (23) outside the fiber (21) and the stent (22) to form the membrane-coated stent (2) (S12); and performing a setting treatment to the membrane-coated stent (2) and retrieving the same from the supporting core (S13). In the membrane-coated stent (2) and the manufacturing method thereof, the fiber (21) is disposed between two layers of membrane (20, 23). The better flexibility and higher strength of the fiber (21) are used to provide both better flexibility and higher strength to the membrane-coated stent (2).
