Title:
MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY, ELECTROLYSIS CELL, ELECTROLYSIS DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/233740
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The membrane electrode assembly according to the present disclosure comprises: a first ion exchange membrane containing a first surface and a second surface located on the opposite side from the first surface; a second ion exchange membrane containing a third surface and a fourth surface located on the opposite side from the third surface; a cathode catalyst layer disposed on the first surface; and an anode catalyst layer disposed on the third surface. The first ion exchange membrane and the second ion exchange membrane are anion exchange membranes having a hydroxide ion conductivity and are formed into a single body with the second surface facing the fourth surface.
