Abstract:
Provided are a membrane filtration system with which it is possible to maintain the flow rate of treated water at a target flow rate in a stable manner, and a method for controlling the membrane filtration system. Raw water in a raw water tank 1 is passed through a security filter 4, a first RO device 7, and a second RO device 11 in the stated order to obtain treated water. A raw water pump 2, a first high-pressure pump 5, and a second high-pressure pump 9 are inverter-controlled such that the control frequency of an upstream-side pump is always equal to or greater than the control frequency of a downstream-side pump.
