Abstract:
In the present invention, contamination of a membrane surface of a separation membrane module is accurately ascertained by a sub-module. The membrane separation apparatus according to the present invention comprises a separation membrane module (1) that generates at least a transmission fluid from a supply fluid, and at least one sub-module (2) that has a separation membrane (23) constituted by the same material as that of the separation membrane of the separation membrane module (1). A deposition material (22) is provided on the surface of the separation membrane (23) of the sub-module (2) at the side where the supply fluid is supplied.
