Title:
MEMBRANE SEPARATION METHOD AND MEMBRANE SEPARATION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/103083
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In the present invention, membranes (20, 20) are arranged in rows and bubble guides (30) are disposed between the adjacent flat membranes, and the flat membranes (20) and the bubble guides (30) facing the membranes (20) form a plurality of hollow, closed off sectional structures (50) that extend in the up-down direction and line up in the direction orthogonal to the row arrangement direction. Bubbles created by diffused air are caused to flow into flow channels (60) formed within the closed off sectional structures (50) comprising the flat membranes (20) and the bubble guides (30). In the conventional art, bubbles are caused to flow in wide flow channels between flat membranes facing each other in the parallel direction, and because the bubbles do not come into contact with the entire surface of the membranes, the entire surface cannot be cleaned uniformly with strong force. In comparison to the conventional art, the present invention cleans the entire surface of the membranes efficiently and uniformly with strong force by causing bubbles to flow in the narrow flow channels (60).
