Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a bank conflict in a memory for a wide range of access address intervals. Addresses are given cyclically to a plurality of memory modules on a per word basis. A plurality of access ports are I/O ports for use in accessing the plurality of memory modules. A plurality of address conversion units convert the addresses so as to rearrange the positioning of the words in the plurality of memory modules by way of a transposition process of a square matrix of a prescribed size. A connection unit connects the plurality of memory modules with the plurality of access ports according to the results of the address conversion.
