Abstract:
Memory refresh technology and a computer system, the memory refresh technology being applied to a computer system comprising a memory controller (106) and a dynamic random access memory (DRAM). According to the memory refresh technology, the memory controller (106) receives a memory access request. The memory controller (106) refreshes a first rank of a plurality of ranks at a time interval T/N when the number of target ranks of memory access requests received in a first time period is less than a set first threshold and the proportion of read requests or proportion of write requests among the memory access requests is greater than a set second threshold. For said time interval, T is used to indicate a standard average refresh time interval, and N is an integer greater than 1. The described memory refresh technology may improve the performance of a computer system in a memory refresh process.
