Abstract:
A meniscus projection plane setting device, method, and program, wherein a projection plane is set, as appropriate, when generating a projection image of a meniscus from a three-dimensional image that includes a knee joint. An image acquisition unit acquires a three-dimensional image of the knee joint. A plane-setting unit sets a plane, which approximates a joint plane of the knee joint, as a projection plane for projecting the meniscus in the knee joint included in the three-dimensional image and generating a projection image.
