Description:
MEN'S UNDERPANTS WITH SEPARATE SPACE FOR PENIS AND REMOVABLE

INCONTINENCE RECEPTACLE

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to men's underwear, in particular men's underpants, at the inner side of their front part having separate space to physically separate the penis from the testicles. In the International Patent Classification, it is classified as A41 B 9/02.

The men's underpants with separate space for the penis, known from the PCT patent application no. PCT/HR2010/000025 and PCT/HR2012/000014, eliminate deficiencies of the present cuts, related to their hygienic and health properties and physical discomforts. The separate space for the penis is situated at the inner side of front part of the briefs, between front outer insert and front inner insert. The testicles retain in their regular position between the legs, physically separated from the penis that is situated within a separate space, so that the penis neither presses, warms nor rubs the testicles. Regardless of the body movements and its position, the penis always remains within the separate space, which fully satisfies the essence and the function of the invention. The position and width of the penis space are adjusted to the shape, cut and design of both the underpants as a whole and their particular parts.

TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND BACKGROUND ART

The penis and the testicles brush against each other, which is not good from the hygienic and health points of view. Due to their position, these organs are constantly exposed to sweating. Particularly negative effect is from the drops of urine remained after urination. By constant contact and rubbing, the penis additionally warms up the testicles, which is one of causes for men's sterility. UNDERPANTS clinging tightly to the body also cause unpleasant constriction of the penis and the testicles. The technical problem that is solved by the PCT patent application no. PCT/HR2010/000025 can be defined as improving the comfort of presently existing men's underpants with separated space for penis. However, there are some shortcomings in the solution disclosed by the above referenced patent application. The major shortcoming is in the final step of production process. In final step of production process part C and the part D of the men's briefs, according to the invention disclosed in the cited document, should be sewed to each other to form part B', and part B' should be sewed to the part B. During sewing of part B' to the part B part B' has to be hauled, anchored towards the edges of the part B to enable long lasting and functional formation of the orifice. The result is that the orifice is not having satisfactorily self adjustable tenseness. Further, each person hauls and anchors part B' differently which results in different tenseness of part B', and consequently different tenseness of orifice which can lead to the short and weak functionality of the orifice. Furthermore, non uniformity of the tenseness of the orifices is something that needs to be overcome in case of mass production.

According to the present invention inner panels are being connected to the rest of the underpants before outer panel in a way that enables formation of the long lasting and self adjustable orifice. During production of the present invention there is no need for hauling and/or anchoring the inner panels. The orifice of the present invention stays the same in any position because connection of the one side of the inner panel 9 and the side panel 4 from the opposite side of the panel 9 hauls the part of the one side of the inner panel that forms the orifice. The same stands for, mutatis mutandis, the inner panel 10 and the side panel 4 from opposite side of the panel 10. Therefore, present invention offers the solution to the problems of insufficient tenseness of the underpants orifice disclosed by the cited document, as well as the solution of the self adjustable orifice. For the solution of these problems, parts of the underpants need to be completely redesigned. During the process complicated parts with many curvatures such as parts C and D according to the cited document are avoided which leads to the significant reduction of fallouts that can also be seen as one solution of the very important problem. Finally, the orifice is made in such a way that it does not need to be situated aside of the midline of the underpants to provide individual selection of the preferential side for the penis depending on the fact which one of the two inner panels 9, 10 is on the top of the other. Panel which is on the top of the other panel is one that is farther from the body than other panel. If the panel 9 is on the top of the panel 10, then the penis positioning on the side of panel 10 is being provided. If the panel 10 is on the top of the panel 9, then the penis positioning is provided on the other side. Same stands for, mutatis mutandis, advantages of the present invention against solution of the problems related to the incontinence issue - disclosed in document PCT/HR2012/000014.

The men's underpants with separate space for the penis, according to the present invention, make a very useful part of underwear, aimed at the man's health, and can be manufactured very economically in numerous embodiments and for various purposes such as incontinence issues as well as for sportsman etc. It includes essential improvements in respect to previously known underpants of this type.

Term "connected" and all other modification of said term in form of nouns, verbs, adjective, synonyms such as attached etc. is used to reflect junction between at least two panels (parts) of the underpants and/or incontinence receptacle by sewing or by any other technology that can provide joint between above mentioned panels (parts) of the underpants and/or incontinence receptacle.

Term incontinence receptacle describes articles such as diaper, napkins etc.

Further, term hem used in the present application does not reflect edge, margin or a border of the various parts of the underpants according to the present invention. Term hem is used to reflect edges and areas close to said edges where at least two panels (parts) of the underpants are mutually connected. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The essence of the invention is men's underpants with separate space for the penis placed at the inner side of their front part.

With reference to figures 1 to 7, present invention discloses men's underpants with separated space for penis, comprising front outer panel 1 , back panel 2 of underpants, two identical side panels 4 of underpants, and two-part front inner panel 18. Back panel 2 is connected to the both panels 4 on each side of the back panel 2 by connecting hem 3 of the back panel 2 to the hem 6 of side panels 4. Underpants take final layout by connecting two-part inner front panel 18 with each of the side panels 4 through hem 5, whereby front outer panel 1 is connected to side panels 4 through hems (22, 5). Separated space for penis is formed by front outer panel 1 and two-part front inner panel 18. The panel 1 and two-part panel 18 are connected to both side panels 4, where two-part front inner panel 18 is formed from two parts - top inner panel 9 and inner panel 10 identical by shape to panel 9. Panels 9 and 10 overlap each other and create orifice 8. Panels 9 and 10 are positioned as mirror image of each other, and overlapping each other in a manner to form orifice 8. More precisely, curved hems 19 and 20 of inner panel 9 and inner panel 10 respectively form circular like, self adjustable orifice 8 with function of inserting penis into separated space. Self adjustable orifice 8 is made in such a way to encircle a penis preventing its falling out from separated space. Orifice 8 is placed on the men's underpants midline. It should be beard in mind that inner panel 9 and inner panel 10 are identical in shape. Therefore, there is no need for cutting two different inner panels which was the case in aforementioned documents PCT/HR2010/000025 and PCT/HR2012/000014. Furthermore, top inner panel 9 and overlapped inner panel 10 are mutually connected through hems 16 and 17. Further, top inner panel 9 and overlapped inner panel 10 are connected to the side panels 4 from opposite side of said panels 9 and 10 by hem 13, and 14 respectively. Also, said panels 9 and 10 connected to each other can be connected to the front outer panel 1 by hem 15 and 23 respectively. Further, panels 9 and 10 are connected by hem 13 and 14 respectively to the hem 5 of the side panels 4 situated on the opposite sides from the panel 9 and 10 respectively. On the other hand, top inner panel 9 is further connected by the part of length or over the whole length of hem 11 to the side panel 4 which is on the same side as said panel 9. Overlapped inner panel 10 is further connected by the part of length or by the whole length of hem 12 to the side panel 4 on the same side as said panel. Connection of the part of the top inner panel 9 and part of overlapped inner panel 10 to the opposite side panels 4 with hems 13 and 14 respectively, and connection of the said panels 9 and 10 to the side panels 4 from the same side as said panels 9 and 10 by part of length or by the whole length of hems 11 and 12 provides simple solution that ensures long lasting optimal tenseness of the orifice 8. Because of this particular way of connection between aforementioned parts of underpants uniform tenseness of the orifice 8 in the mass production is accomplished. That is not case in previously mentioned PCT applications, because in the process of production of the inventions disclosed in the applications the inner panel needed to be anchored to the outer panel in order to create the desirable tenseness of the orifice 8. Desirable tenseness is not a measurable feature, and therefore is subjected to the feeling of the person working on it, and his strength, which leads to the different tenseness of the orifice 8 in the mass production.

In one embodiment of the present invention the front outer panel 1 of men's underpants comprises of two identical parts in order to provide optimal space for penis insertion.

In another embodiment of the invention both panels 9 and 10 are connected to the side panels 4 situated on the same side of the panel 9 and panel 10 respectively, by the whole length of the hem 11 and hem 12.

In further embodiments of the present invention at least one of the panels (9) and (10) is connected to a side panel (4) on a same side as panel (9) or (10) only by the part of length of hem (11) or hem (12), whereas the other panel (9) or (10) is connected to a side panel (4) by the whole length of the hem (11) or the hem (12).

In other further embodiments of the present invention curved hem 19 of the top inner panel 9 contains a mean for simpler insertion of the penis in to the separate space. Loop is one of the standard means used for this purpose.

Considering men's underpants in relation to incontinence issue, the solution is the same in essence with the solution of the men's underpants intended for healthy man. In case of incontinence issues the top inner panel 9 and overlapped inner panel 10 are mutually connected with hem 15, but they should not be connected to the front outer panel 1 through connection of the hems 15 and 23 of the men's underpants. The result is the formation of access for incontinence receptacle 24 which should be set between front outer panel 1 and front inner panel 18 before penis insertion. Incontinence receptacle 24 is made to fit in to the space between said panel 1 and said panel 18, meaning that it has the same shape as panel 1 , and dimensions to fit within panels 1 , 18 of the men's underpants. The aperture 27 is faced to orifice 8 of the men's underpants to enable the incontinence receptacle 24 to receive penis. Aperture 27 extends from the top of the incontinence receptacle to the lower end of orifice 8. In one embodiment of the invention aperture 27 has a U shape form. Further, means for fixing incontinence receptacle to the men's underpants is provided. Means for fixing in one embodiment of the invention is sticky extension of part of the aperture 27 that surrounds orifice 8. In preferred embodiment of the invention liquid adsorbent or absorbent layer covers both inner sides of the incontinence receptacle. In most preferred embodiment liquid adsorbent or absorbent layer is provided only on inner side of the incontinence receptacle farther from the user body, and inner side with the aperture 27 is made of impermeable layer that hold liquid such as urine within the incontinence receptacle. In another embodiment of the invention adsorbent or absorbent layer is provided for both the inner side of the incontinence receptacle away from the user body (26) and for the lower part of the inner side of the incontinence receptacle (24) close to the body (25). For easy disposal of the incontinence receptacle (24) adhesive tape (29) is provided.
