Abstract:
A mesh seat (1), a manufacturing method thereof, and a chair having a mesh seat (1). The mesh seat (1) comprises a seat frame (10) and at least one PU mesh surface unit (30). At least one 3D printing device (2) is utilized, and polyurethane (PU) (31) is used as a printing material. The polyurethane PU (31) is jetted by means of a nozzle (40) of the 3D printing device (2) to print and form the at least one PU mesh surface unit (30) on a surface (11a) of an outer frame portion (11) of the seat frame (10) and on a matching support surface (21) of a support member (20), so as to combine the at least one PU mesh surface unit (30) with the outer frame portion (11) of the seat frame (10) as an integrated entity. The PU mesh surface unit (30) can be formed in various decorative patterns (34) as needed. The method improves the manufacturing efficiency and market competitiveness of the mesh seat and a related chair.
