Abstract:
The application discloses a message processing method and a related device. The method comprises: a network device obtains a first message; if a DA of the first message is matched with a first SID of the network device, the network device obtains a second message and a third message on the basis of the first message, wherein a first segment list of the first message comprises a first SID, a second segment list and a third segment list, the second segment list corresponds to a sub-tree having a first sub-node of a first network device as a root, the third segment list corresponds to a sub-tree having a second sub-node of the first network device as a root, and the second message and the third message further comprise a multicast data message in the first message; the first network device sends a second packet to the first sub-node, and sends a third packet to the second sub-node. It is apparent that, according to the method, by means of the sub-tree pop-up operation, the segment list sent to the message of a certain sub-tree can only comprise the SID of each node in the sub-tree, and therefore effective compression of the message is realized, so that the processing efficiency of the message is improved.
