Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a message transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first network device receiving a first message sent by a source user equipment, wherein the first message comprises a first bit string and a destination address (DA), the first bit string is used for indicating at least one destination user equipment, and the DA of the first message is the address of the first network device; the first network device acquiring a second message according to the first bit string, wherein the second message comprises first information, and the first information is used for instructing to arrive at a next-hop device of the at least one destination user equipment; and the first network device sending the second message to the next-hop device. By means of the technical solution provided in the present application, the overheads and complexity of a user equipment can also be reduced while supporting point-to-multipoint data transmission in a user IP network.
