Abstract:
The present invention relates to a meta-structure for electromagnetic wave absorption, comprising an electric resonance-type pattern, a plurality of peripheral conductive patterns, and a plurality of peripheral blank patterns. The electric resonance-type pattern has a conductive pattern and a blank pattern. The conductive pattern is formed of an electrically conducting material and exhibits an electric resonance property by means of an incident electromagnetic wave, wherein the incident electromagnetic wave is converted to heat. The blank pattern occupies an area without the conductive pattern. The plurality of peripheral conductive patterns are formed of an electrically conducting material, and respective end portions thereof are arranged to be spaced without being connected to each other while encompassing the electric resonance-type pattern. The plurality of peripheral blank patterns respectively occupy gaps between adjacent peripheral conductive patterns.
