Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a metal-air cell in which it is possible to form, with few components and with a simple structure, a metal-air cell unit having a plurality of metal-air cell cells arrayed, and in which it is possible to simplify the injection of an electrolytic solution into the cells; and a method for using the metal-air cell. This metal-air cell (1) is characterized by being provided with a metal-air cell unit (2) in which a plurality of metal-air cell cells (22) are arrayed, each of the metal-air cell cells being configured so as to have an air electrode (6), a metal electrode (7) disposed facing the air electrode, and a casing (8) supporting the air electrode and the metal electrode, each casing including an air chamber (10) and a liquid chamber (11) therein, the upper part of the air chamber being opened to the exterior, and a water supply port (13) that communicates with the liquid chamber being provided in the casing.
