Abstract:
An electrochemical cell or cell system includes an air mover, such as a fan (32), and one or more pressure-sensitive mechanisms (35), such as a slit valve, that allow air to enter or to exit the cell or system. Said pressure-sensitive mechanism is responsive to the air mover, thereby regulating the air flow to the electrochemical cell such as a metal-air cell.
