Abstract:
Provided are a metal complex dye represented by formula (I), a photoelectric conversion element, and a dye-sensitized solar cell.
Formula (I): M(LD)(LA)∙(Y)mY
In the formula, M represents Fe2+, Ru2+ or Os2+. LD represents a tridentate ligand represented by formula (A), and LA represents a specific tridentate ligand that differs from the aforementioned tridentate ligand, wherein three cyclic coordinating groups are linked. In formula (A), Ar1 and Ar2 each independently represent a specific heterocyclic group such as a benzene ring group or a triazole ring. Y represents a counterion for when a charge must be neutralized, and mY represents an integer from 0 to 2.
