Abstract:
The present invention provides a cyclometalated complex represented by [(MII)(L1)(L2)] (in the formula: MII indicates PtII or PdII; L1 indicates a divalent anionic ligand represented by formula (L-1); L2 indicates a ligand represented by formula (L-2a); and the meanings of R1-R6, Ra, and Ar1-Ar4 are as described in the description). The metal complex of the present invention is able to exhibit luminescence when excited by a lower energy than conventional pyrazolato complexes, and has superior solubility in chloroform and the like.
