Abstract:
[Problem] The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide: a metal complex pigment having superior durability and high conversion efficiency; a metal complex pigment composition; a photoelectric conversion element; and a photoelectrochemical cell. [Solution] The metal complex pigment is characterized by being represented by the belowmentioned general formula (1): M1(LL1)m1(LL2)m2(CN)m3(X1)m4·CI1 …(1) [M1 represents a metal atom; LL1 is a bidentate ligand represented by general formula (2); LL2 is a bidentate ligand represented by general formula (3); m1 and m2 are both 1; m3 is 1 or 2; m4 is 0 or 1; X1 is a specific ligand; and CI1 represents a counterion for the case when a counterion is needed for neutralizing electric charge.]
