Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a metal-compound-containing gel (13) including at least either one of metal oxide and metal hydroxide. Said method includes a process wherein an alkoxy-group-containing liquid and a first hydrogen-peroxide-containing aqueous liquid are added to a metal alkoxide (11) to produce a metal hydroxide compound (12); a process whereby the metal hydroxide (12) is separated from the mother liquor in a wet state; and a process wherein a second hydrogen-peroxide-containing aqueous liquid is auto-thermally reacted with the separated wet metal hydroxide (12) to produce a metal-compound-containing gel (13). A method for the efficient production of a metal-compound-containing gel or metal-compound-containing liquid for the production of metal compounds or metal compound films is provided thereby.
