Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a metal core for a crawler, and an elastic crawler, with which, even when a reverse bend occurs on an elastic body, lateral displacement of a metal core base can be reliably prevented. [Solution] When an elastic body 28 bends inward in a protruding manner and has a reverse bend which causes adjacent metal core bases 33 to move in directions separating from each other, restriction protrusions 36 protruding from projections 35 in the short-side direction of the adjacent metal core bases 33 come into contact with each other and restrict the movement, and therefore the adjacent metal core bases 33 do not separate from each other. Consequently, the overlapped region between the projections 35 in the short-side direction of adjacent metal cores 32 is ensured, and lateral displacement of the metal cores 32 is prevented.
