Abstract:
A metal filtering apparatus that without complex structuring, permits uniform
easy cleaning of multiple ceramic tubes. A pair of side boards (10, 11) are provided
in unit container (2). Multiple lengthy ceramic tubes (13) are fitted between
the pair of side boards (10, 11). The bottom of the unit container (2) under the
ceramic tubes (13) is fitted with gas injection plate (15) having a multiplicity
of gas injection apertures (16). By injection of argon gas through the gas injection
apertures (16) of the gas injection plate (15), there is accomplished removing
of inclusions adhering to the surface layer of the ceramic tubes (13) from the
bottom side of the unit container (2).
