Abstract:
A pair of refractory plates (11,12) are disposed within a unit container. Multiple
lengthy ceramic tubes (14) are fitted between the pair of refractory plates (11,12).
One end (14a), on the side of melt outlet aperture (9), of each of the ceramic tubes
(14) is fixed to the refractory plate (12) by means of refractory cement (22),
and the other end (14b) of each of the ceramic tubes (14) is fixed to the refractory
plate (11) by means of fiber mortar (21). Thus, retention of the thermal shock
resistance and enhancement of the fixing strength of the ceramic tubes (14) are
simultaneously attained.
