Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a neutron scintillator with excellent neutron detection efficiency and n/γ difference sensitivity, and a metal fluoride eutectic body suitable as the neutron scintillator. [Solution] A metal fluoride eutectic body in which a calcium fluoride crystal phase containing cerium and a lithium fluoride crystal phase are phase-separated and present, and a neutron scintillator comprising the metal fluoride eutectic body.
