Abstract:
The present invention relates to a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method therefor, which can manufacture, with high quality, through continuous plating, a metal foil such as an iron-nickel alloy foil, a nickel foil and a copper foil. A metal foil continuous plating apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an electrolytic bath for accommodating an electrolyte solution; an anode arranged inside the electrolytic bath; a cathode arranged a predetermined interval from the anode so as to face same; and a power supply device for applying current to the anode and the cathode, wherein the electrolyte solution is supplied to one side of the space formed between the anode and the cathode, the electrolyte solution is discharged through the other side of the space, the one side to which the electrolyte solution is supplied is higher than the other side so that the electrolyte solution flows by means of the potential energy difference between the one side and the other side through the space formed between the anode and the cathode, and, while the electrolyte solution passes through the space formed between the anode and the cathode, metal ions contained in the electrolyte solution are electrodeposited on the cathode so as to form a metal foil.
