Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a metal foil having an electrical resistance layer and a manufacturing method for the metal foil, said metal foil inhibiting the detachment of the metal foil and the resistance layer disposed on the metal foil, and enabling the reduction of variations in resistance values in the resistance layer. The metal foil having an electrical resistance layer comprises: a metal foil that has a surface treated by an ion beam irradiation at an ion beam intensity of 0.70-2.10 sec・W/cm2, resulting in a ten-point average roughness (Rz) of 1μm or less as measured by an optical method; and an electrical resistance layer that is disposed on the aforementioned surface of the metal foil.
