Abstract:
Provided is a metal foil with a carrier that makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of breakage or cracking of the metal foil during handling. This metal foil with a carrier comprises a carrier, a release layer, and a metal foil in this order, wherein the α value obtained by the equation α=193.07-(0.13×CT×CF)-(0.75×BT×BF) is -500 to 30.0 (in the equation, CT is the thickness (μm) of the carrier, CF is the tensile strength (kgf/mm2) of the carrier, BT is the thickness (μm) of the metal foil, and BF is the tensile strength (kgf/mm2) of the metal foil).
