Title:
METAL FRAME FOR A CAST-IN-SITU REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/105296
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of in-situ construction and can be used for erecting large buildings and structures, inter alia in earthquake regions. Prior art frames consist primarily of reinforcing bars which are joined or welded together on site. These are low in strength and resilience and are labour intensive. The essence of the present invention is that a metal frame for a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete column is made of a light-gauge, profiled rolled metal at production facilities. On site, only assembly is carried out, without welding, wherein bolts are used for fastening. The side surfaces of the frame are provided with fastening openings for the installation of formwork. The top and bottom parts of the frame are provided with supporting and mounting assemblies, which also have fastening openings for connection to other load-bearing members of the building. Longitudinal bars are made from angle bar or pipe, transverse bars are made from angle bar or strips, and the supporting and mounting assemblies are made from angle bar, C-beam or H-beam. This invention provides for an increase in the load-bearing capacity of a metal frame and, thus, of a column, a decrease in construction time and costs, and an increase in producibility.
