Title:
METAL MAGNETIC MATERIAL AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/152460
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
If bonding with resin or the like or if coating particles with an insulating film, it is necessary to increase the amount of an insulating material other than a magnetic material in order to make insulation performance more reliable, but increasing a volume other than that of the magnetic material leads to degradation of magnetic properties. If an Fe-Cr-Si alloy is used for material particles and an insulating film which is of an oxide derived from only a starting material composition and which is formed on the Fe-Cr-Si alloy particles is used, insulation performance decreases and sufficient strength cannot be obtained. If resin impregnation is used, not only do costs increase but the stability of a product becomes insufficient, and as a result thereof, practical utility is low. In the present invention, zinc is added to a metal magnetic alloy powder comprising iron and silicon. An element is formed using this magnetic material, and a coil is formed inside or on the surface of the element.
