Abstract:
A manufacturing method for a metal, the method including a floating-contaminant removal step in which: a component for removing floating-contaminant is immersed in a metal melt inside a crucible; the surface of the metal melt is made to be a concave shape by rotating the component for removing floating-contaminant; floating-contaminant, which accumulates in the central part of the surface of the metal melt, attaches to the component for removing floating-contaminant; and the component for removing floating-contaminant, having floating-contaminant attached thereto, is removed from the metal melt.
