Abstract:
Provided are: a metal material having a surface for bonding to a liquid crystal polymer at a favorable adhesion strength; a metal-liquid crystal polymer composite and a method for producing same; and an electronic component. The metal material having a surface for bonding to a liquid crystal polymer is such that the in the concentration profile in energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) within the 10 nm at the surfacemost layer of the surface obtained by means of STEM, the thickness of the layer of one of Si, Ti, Al, Zr, Sn, Mg, and Ce is at least 1 nm.
