Abstract:
[Problem] To increase metal sites that modify a metal organic framework to increase the adsorption amount of a gas. [Solution] Provided is a metal-modified metal organic framework which comprises a metal organic framework containing a center metal and organic ligand and a metal site modifying the organic ligand, and in which the metal modification rate of the organic ligand is 10% or more. The organic ligand modified with the metal site may be a catechol site that modifies the organic ligand. The metal-modified metal organic framework can be produced by performing a catechol modification step using a solvent containing catechol and a metal salt. The metal-modified metal organic framework can be produced by performing a metal modification step using a solvent blended with a metal salt having a carboxylate.
