Abstract:
Provided are metal particles obtained by at least the partial formation of a solid solution of rhodium and a metal. Also provided is a method for producing metal particles comprising a step for forming metal particles obtained by at least the partial formation of a solid solution of rhodium and a metal by adding a boron reducing agent to a mixed solution containing a rhodium salt and a metal. Further provided are a catalyst for exhaust gas purification obtained by supporting such metal particles on a catalyst carrier and a production method therefor.
